The SCEC office is open from 1 to 4 PM Monday through Friday, staffed by dedicated volunteers. We do close the office on holidays or when it is snowing.  Please come by and introduce yourself and find out what is going on at the SCEC.

Become a member of the SCEC! An official one-year membership ( by fiscal year, July 1st - June 30th) is only $5 per individual or $10 per family. Membership allows you to cast a vote at membership meetings, enjoy our free annual membership dinner, and show support for your community center. You will also receive our quarterly newsletter. Our Mission: The Selma Community and Education Center (SCEC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing for social, learning, and recreational needs of people who live in the Illinois Valley. Our mission is to provide a forum for open discussion of public and community matters and to promote and support activities and programs that invigorate the community.  The SCEC is non-sectarian, non-partisan, and welcoming of all points of view and all activities that are lawful and safe.
